The 107th Giro d’Italia commenced on May 4th from Venaria Reale, signaling the Grand Departure. As the race winds through 40 cities, each hosting one of the 21 stages, their monuments and iconic landmarks are bathed in pink—the signature color of the Corsa Rosa.
From the Piedmont Region in the north to Rome in the south, this cycling extravaganza unites locations in celebration. RCS Sport, in collaboration with Enel (the event’s main sponsor) and the Maglia Rosa (Pink Jersey), leads this initiative.
In the heart of Rome, the Spanish Steps at Piazza di Spagna will remain illuminated in pink until the Grand Arrival on Sunday, May 26th.
